Wing Showdown at the GWA World Cup in Leucate

Kylie Belloeuvre Shines with 2nd Place in the Freefly-Slalom

A Standout Podium Performance in the Women’s Division

The 2025 GWA Wingfoil World Cup in Leucate delivered a full week of action-packed competition, featuring everything from howling Tramontana winds to tricky onshore conditions. Held during the iconic Mondial du Vent, the event gathered the world’s best wing foilers for seven intense days of FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle battles.

JP-Australia and NeilPryde team rider Kylie Belloeuvre showcased her speed, consistency, and competitive grit throughout the FreeFly-Slalom discipline. As one of the top-seeded riders, Kylie advanced directly to the final, where she faced off against Nia Suardiaz, Viola Lippitsch, and Mar de Arce.

In the final, Kylie had a very quick start, immediately taking the lead. But it was Nia Suardiaz who managed to edge ahead by the second mark and held on to take the win. Kylie crossed the line in an excellent 2nd place, marking a fantastic start to the season.

“After these 7 days, I am really happy about this 2nd place in freefly-slalom and a 5th place in freestyle ” – Kylie Belloeuvre

Kylie also impressed in surf-freestyle, finishing 5th.

Riccardo Zorzi just misses the finals

JP-Australia team rider Riccardo Zorzi delivered a strong performance in the men’s FreeFly-Slalom heats. Riccardo narrowly missed out on a spot in the final, showing that he’s more than ready to challenge the top ranks in upcoming events.

With the season now in full swing, we’re proud of the efforts our team riders brought to Leucate!
