JP introduced this proven S-glass technology for wave boards back in 2014 and has continued to refine it ever since.
High-quality glass (13+), S-Glass (5,9) and Biax Glass (11) combinations are not only better substitutes for various carbon materials, they are also superior for wave use.
S-glass has a very high tensile strength and is less brittle than carbon. It is light, more durable and more forgiving than carbon. On the wave, riders prefer the smooth feel of these flexy board compared to stiff carbon models.
This technology features high-density PVC sandwich layers (8,12) in deck and bottom and Omega stringers (6, with reinforcements: 7) in the same material in the bottom.
Further details are the full Innegra rail reinforcement (3), various glass stringers (4,9) and a Quadraxial fibre construction (12+14+18) in the full standing area and with Paulownia Wood reinforcements (4).
