Good Times, Great Gear & Festival Feeling – Two Weekends of Pure Watersport Energy

While the world’s windsurfing and wingfoil world gathered in France for the the biggest watersport events at Défi Wind and Défi Wing, Germany played host to its own flagship events: the Surf Festival Fehmarn and the Foil Festival – the two biggest windsurfing and foiling gatherings in the country. We were proud to be there, presenting the latest innovations in our windsurf, SUP, and wingfoil ranges.

At the Surf Festival (May 29 – June 1), over 35,000 visitors enjoyed four days of testing, competitions, and pure beach vibes at Fehmarn’s south shore. Our stand saw nonstop action, with riders, newcomers, and longtime fans eager to try our gear and talk tech with the team.

 

A special highlight: wingfoil team rider Vinnicius Martins took part in the German Freestyle Battles, winning his very first heat and turning heads with his crossover talent. Anton Richter also put on a strong performance, finishing 5th in the Racer of the Sea slalom event.

Just one week later, the Foil Festival (June 5–8) brought together the German foil scene for four days of test sessions, pump foil action, clinics, and the Winger of the Sea competition.

Representing our team, Kati Ritter secured 3rd place overall among the women, while Vinnicius Martins, Aron, and Quirin Olbrisch delivered solid performances across challenging conditions.
