The Foil Slate is a great shape made for SUP surfing, SUP foiling, wingsurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing and windfoiling! Stable, fast and reactive are the main strengths of the Foil Slates. Use the extra speed to glide across flat sections of the wave or to hit the lip with full power. The bottom shape features a V entry that flows into a deep single concave ending with a subtle V right at the center fin position. This ensures smooth lift and an easy rail-to-rail transfer.
The Foil Slates also have long track boxes for added windsurf foiling option.

For 15 years I worked for F2 and shaped many popular boards like the Comet Slalom or the Xantos ranges. Since 2000 I am with JP and am responsible for the whole board and fin range. It is always a great feeling when one of my boards like the Freestyle Wave turns out to be a test winner and becomes a successful best seller. Especially when you see happy people on the water with this board.”

The truth is, I learn something new with every single prototype I build and test. The Innegra Parabolic Rail works as a stringer around the whole shape, adding extra stiffness to the board. To ensure the best stiffness ratio, the rail is fully covered with Innegra, a high modulus polypropylene fiber that has excellent impact resistance. The parabolic form of the rail combined with the molded fibre creates a strong and solid U-beam structure that connects the deck, rail and bottom. Innegra is pigmented instead of fully painted to save weight and avoid paint chipping.
