Nico’s back !

The return of Prien.

JP-Australia is delighted to announce the return of Nico Prien

In 2016 GER-7 started sailing for JP. Since then our partnership has blossomed and Nico has successfully participated in national and international events. He is a big asset to JP and NeilPryde’s racing and test team and an inspiration for many windsurfers.

Two years ago, life brought the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for him to take on the role of a brand manager which he accepted wisely. His involvement in the windsurfing business, obligations and day-to-day operations limited his training, competing and filming – Prien’s greatest passions.

Nico started to miss this part of his life more and more – the challenge of competition and his video projects – and he knew he had to make another great change in his career.

Today, JP-Australia announces the return of Nico Prien GER-7 to the World Cup team as a part of which he will fight for points in the PWA World Ranking. JP supports Nico’s endeavours to feed the windsurfing community with informative and entertaining content through his social media appearance.
“NP” always continued sailing NP Rigs, he was a part of the NeilPryde family and never lost touch with the products and brand. For Prien the circle closes in a smooth transition to fully re-integrate into the Pryde Group.

“Since my professional career I have always used NeilPryde sails and Foils. It’s feels good to match the combo with the boards that suit best. Big thanks to JP-Australia for supporting my passion to make content for the windsurfing world and especially for supporting my goals to enter the TOP10 in the 2023 Worldcup and progressing more in the coming years.”

“We are really excited to being Nico’s partner in his efforts to regain his strength in competitions and achieve successful positions in PWA competitions again. We support his dedication and drive as an athlete to battle with competitors in though match races for best positions. He definitely can play an important role in reinforcing the JP World Cup team.

Furthermore we are looking forward to his contributions and insights to our products and development. With his social media activities, Nico will heavily contribute to the presence of JP in the media and we are looking forward to seeing his video articles on YouTube in the future.
Welcome back, Nico!”
