JP Next-Gen Champions in Action!

Cold Hawaii PWA Youth Windsurf Wave & Slalom World Cup

Massive congrats to our amazing youth riders!

The Cold Hawaii Youth Windsurf World Cup 2025 was a celebration of wind power, wave rhythm, and youthful passion.

From Klitmøller’s surf to Hanstholm’s swell and Thisted’s slalom lakes, the riders gave it their all. Over the course of a high-octane week, packed with both Wave and Slalom action, young riders from across the globe left their mark on Denmark’s rugged west coast.

Our JP youngsters gave their best – and were rewarded with multiple 1st place finishes. Congratulation!

ANTON RICHTER

1st Place – Wave Boy’s U21
2nd Place – U21 Boy’s Fin

The U21 Boy’s faced a pivotal heat with major World Championship points on the line. Anton Richter pulled the longest straw and won the 2025 Cold Hawaii leg, along with the coveted points that place him perfectly for the Maui final. Anton Richter impressed with a stylish wave 360 and a high one-footed backloop.

Anton was also on fire around the race course, battling some extremely varying conditions in the always-challenging race location of Thisted. He stayed on the pace throughout the event and finished with a very impressive 2nd place.

Some words from Anton:

“The Youth World cup in Klitmøller is always one of my favourite events of the year and this year Cold Hawaii truly showed itself from its best side.  We had Wind for eight days straight for Wave, Slalom and Foil. We kicked things off with Wave in Klitmøller, where we had lighter wind and some fun bump-and-jump conditions. The next day, we moved to Hanstholm and scored perfect conditions for the finals — strong side-shore wind and solid waves. I had a good heat in the final with some big jumps and long waves and I am very happy to take the win in Wave. For Slalom we moved to the Fjord in Thisted where we got excellent Conditions that allowed us to finish 11 eliminations on the fin and 12 eliminations on the Foil. Over five days we had everything between 40 knots survival conditions and 10 knots light wind racing. It was very nice to go racing again after a while and I am also very happy with a 2. place on the fin and a 6. Place on the foil. Overall an amazing week in Cold Hawaii.”
