JP & Neilpryde Kids Camps 2024

Two successful kids camps, two stunning locations & a lot of stoked young watersport talents

This year, we proudly organized two Neilpryde & JP Kids Camps, providing the next generation of windsurfers & wingers with the perfect opportunity to enhance their skills and grow in the sport. Both camps took place in two stunning locations – the beautiful island of Rhodes and the breathtaking shores of Lake Garda. With ideal wind conditions, passionate coaches, and a range of exciting activities, these camps offered the perfect experience for young windsurfing & wing enthusiasts, helping them push their limits and build lasting memories on the water.

The first camp took place in early October at the beautiful Pro Center Prasonisi in Rhodes, where our young windsurfing talents enjoyed a full week of perfect conditions. With sunshine, flat water, and strong winds, the kids had the ideal environment to hone their skills. Under the expert guidance of our freestyle pros Marco Lufen and Manolis Chrysopoulos, the kids learned new tricks and improved their techniques, all while having fun. From group wave sessions and an impressive freestyle show by the coaches to the exciting team race that wrapped up the week, there was never a dull moment. A special thank you goes to the Pro Center Prasonisi for providing the fantastic setting that made this camp possible.

The second camp was held during the first week of September at the stunning Lake Garda. At the Windsurf & Wing Camp hosted by Watersport Segnana, young participants were coached by 5 trainers, including freestyle world champion Yentel Cears and pro winger Riccardo Zorzi. The diverse wind conditions made the camp a highlight for children of all skill levels. Whether beginners or advanced riders, there was something for everyone. On days when the wind didn’t cooperate, SUP races, canoe trips, and equipment theory sessions kept the kids entertained and engaged.

We’re thrilled to see the progress the kids made during these camps and proud to have supported so many young talents along the way. We’re already looking forward to next year when we can once again say, “Let’s hit the water!”
