JP-Australia Team Rider Shines in Abu Dhabi – Vice World Champion in FreeFly-Slalom!

What an incredible week at the GWA Wingfoil World Cup Abu Dhabi on Fahid Island! In light, technical wind and high-pressure racing, our JP-Australia team rider delivered a phenomenal performance to claim 2nd place overall – securing the title of 2025 Vice World Champion in FreeFly-Slalom!

Battling through tight heats and a dramatic two-round super-final, she showcased world-class speed, control and determination against the strongest fleet of the season. The final showdown saw her trading wins with reigning champion Nia Suardiaz (ESP) in a thrilling neck-and-neck fight for the crown. With smart race strategy and flawless foiling, our rider pushed the level and proved she belongs at the very top of the sport.

We’re also proud of JP-Australia team rider Riccardo Zorzi, who delivered a strong performance in the men’s division to finish 10th overall in a stacked fleet.
