The 2018 ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship confirmed another great season for the racing team of JP-Australia. Representing their respective countries in the competition, Vinnicius Martins (Brazil) and Kenny Kaneko (Japan) achieved great results that were very important to their teams. This also shows that the race boards shaped by Werner Gnigler deliver great speed and flow on the water!

The competition has happened in the island of Hainan, in China. After the first days of SUP surfing competitions, the racing schedule went on until the very last day of the world cup. Starting with the Technical race, Vinnicius and Kenny made a great job and finished among the top 10 racers. The Brazilian rider finished 7th, while the rider from Japan achieved the 10th position.

At the Distance race, Vinni made the Bronze medal for his country after a great performance, beating some of the best paddlers in the world! This crowned one of the best seasons of the South American rider, who made the best of every single paddle stroke to add another podium at an important race to his statistics. His race time was 1:55:34. Kenny Kaneko made a strong race and finished 15th with a time of 2:07:50.

Congratulations JP Team!
