Q&A

education:

Oure College of Sports – Contemporary Dance & Ballet
Manning Inspire – Life and Business Coach
Aarhus University – Marketing and Management Communication

hobbies:

Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddling, wakeboarding, snowboarding, dancing, sailing X-40, yoga and pilates, photographing, cooking, writing travel stories and playing guitar.

best day in my life:

Luckily there has been so many! But I will never forget that beautiful morning on Lana’i (Hawaii) when I went for a morning swim in the ocean. All of a sudden I found myself surrounded by wild dolphins; jumping, dancing, playing and sharing the magic of the ocean with me….?.

best day possible:

A day full of smiles, laughter and watersports spent with my family and good friends.

best 'vacation':

Every vacation is the best vacation!
I love travelling and discovering new, exciting places. My heart will always belong to the Caribbean and the BVI though – I have so many unforgettable moments from those magical islands. But I also love the bright Danish summers and sailing holidays on our boat in Scandinavian waters. There are hundreds of unspoiled islands and places with breathtaking nature just around every corner……

favourite music:

I always get inspired when listening to music. At the moment I listen to everything from John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Michael Bubble, Van Morrison, Coldplay and Guns n Roses.

favourite book:

“The Dolphin – story of a dreamer” by Sergio Bambaren

books I read now:

There are way too many! “Organization and Theory Design”, “Corporate Discourse Analysis”, “Business Structures and Processes”, “Communication in a Management Perspective”, “Micro- and macroeconomics”, just to mention a few……

favorite spot(s):

I love my home spot in Skive, a secret spot called “Hullet”. It’s always super windy, and I love the atmosphere on the water as well as on land. I’ve had so many good sessions there. Klitmøller, Lanzarote and Maui are also favorites. But anywhere with wind and water can pretty much put a smile on my face.

preferred JP board(s):

JP Super Sport, JP Freestyle Wave, Formula and my JP Venus SUP board.

personal 'madness' & 'obsessions':

I have many. According to my surroundings I am sometimes too structured and organized, but it makes me in control of planning and getting the most out of every day. Another obsession is that I always want to wake up early (in order to get the most out of my day) after a night of partying. I’ve got this mantra or incantation saying: “Queen at night – princess in the morning.”

inspired by:

People who’ve got the courage to follow their hearts and dreams, and those strong enough to be themselves and make a difference.

proud about:

Being able to fulfill my dreams and enjoying the little things in life.

sport targets:

Keep enjoying and have fun.

the future:

On my wall I wrote the famous words; “Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. – That’s why it’s called the present”, to remind me about living fully and consciously right now. But in the future I will finish my studies, keep learning, smiling and getting the best out of every day.

sponsors:

JP-Australia, NeilPryde, Quiksilver & Roxy and my dad.

my slogan (word I live by):

I am a word maniac. In fact, it’s an obsession too!
I play with words, reflect upon them and everywhere I go I tend to get inspired by words, texts and languages.

“When Life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show Life that you’ve got a thousand reasons to smile.”

“Everything will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright – it’s not the end!”

“Your heart is free. Have the courage to follow it.”

“There is a crack in everything – that’s how the light gets in.”
