On the last weekend, between the 22nd and the 24th of September, the JP-Australia team riders achieved great results around the world! Peter Bartl, Laura Bartl, Paul Lenfant, Nicolas Galiay and Chase Kosterlitz were amongst the top riders on races and long distance contests.
Peter Bartl won the Alps Trophy for the third time! In 2017 there were 4 races: Kalterersee, Tegernsee, Zellersee and Chiemsee, with the 3 best counting. For this edition, he could not compete in Tegernsee, so he had to paddle his best on all of them to achieve the overall prize. He won in Zellersee, was 2nd in Kalterersee and 3rd in Chiemsee, the final race.
Meanwhile, the women’s trophy was dominated by Laura, Peter Bartl’s daughter, for the second year in a row! She won not only the final race in Chiemsee, but also the overall Alps Trophy competition again. She was on the water with a JP Race Flatwater 14´0 x 23″ in every race, “which gave me the possibility to go fast in all conditions”, stated Laura.
Paul Lenfant started very well to represent the JP International team. After a successful participation in the technical race during the World Cup in Denmark, representing Poland, he competed in a long distance event. Paul could paddle the biggest distance in 2 hours in the contest Paddl’Oise 2nd edition! And in the same event, the JP rider Nicolas Galiay finished 2nd!
The good results also came from the the United States, where Chase Kosterlitz finished 7th in the distance race at the Battle Of The Bay!
Congratulations JP Team!
