FIRST VICTORY – congratulations Mateus Isaac !

BRA-767 took his first PWA event title in the foil discipline at the Ulsan PWA World Cup 2018 in Korea!
In a tough battle he managed to take the first elimination and held his lead by sailing tactically and
staying amongst the top-5 of the fleet in two other eliminations.
The control and speed of his gear and setup helped to take his first event victory.

But also in slalom he sailed exceptionally:
He came 2nd, 3rd and 9th in the counting eliminations to finish 4th overall –
his best slalom result so far.
And with his consistency he also was the best ranked JP rider in this event,
followed by Pascal Toselli in 6th!

Summing it up, you could really say that this was Mateus’ event !

For sure he now will look forward to the next PWA events and also -already now- to return to Korea next season.
