Kenny Kaneko joins JP-Australia

JP-AUSTRALIA proudly announces that Kenny Kaneko will be joining our team of international riders. The Japanese professional paddler has his dedicated mind set on some more international podiums in 2017. Kenny has tested our boards and paddles and is confident that on JP-AUSTRALIA he will have the right stuff to get him to the top.

“I am happy to announce that I have joined the JP-Australia team. This will help me to get one step closer to achieve the goals I have set for 2017. I am amazed by the equipment and can’t wait to get this year started”, Kenny declared.

Kenny was born in Tokyo and moved to California when he was 8. He always had a strong connection with water sports through outrigger canoeing and surfing.

He started Stand Up Paddling only in 2013 and has since then collected an impressive list of results and achievements. Amongst them a win at the All Japan SUP Championship in his second year of professional career as well as defeating Kai Lenny, Casper Steinfath and Mo Freitas at the Hong Kong International SUP Championships in August of 2016.

We are convinced that 2017 will be a great year for Kenny and we are super thrilled to have him on the team.
