this is no doubt the day my son Lance was born, I have had so many best days I lose count but this is by far the most vivid in my mind
early morning golf round, gym then cycling, testing wave and race gear all day then head home to hang with my family for dinner and evening play time
relaxing on Maui with my family, I am travelling away from Maui so much that it is just great to be home and not have to worry about going anywhere for a while
I like all kinds of music except for techno. I probably listen to country and pearl jam the most
Anywhere in Maui, Western Australia and New Zealand

None that I really consider madness or obsession, I think I am a pretty even keeled person. I like a lot of different things in life, I think it is important to have balance in everything you do. I am a little obsessed about organizing and being organized but I am not that great at it
My family and close friends, these are the people that have helped me get where I am and keep me going each day. If it weren’t for these people I would not be as fortunate as I am
My main focus is to win the PWA Racing title and each race event during the year. In the process I am also always pushing to develop the best products for JP-Australia and Maui Sails to deliver to their race teams and the everyday windsurfer. I also try to do as much as I can to help grow the sport and bring new and young blood into windsurfing.
For me I see many great years with JP and Maui Sails along with many racing titles for both. I plan to continue working and racing for JP and Maui Sails as long as I am capable and then who knows what the future may bring. And for the future of our sport I see it making a very healthy comeback into the mainstream of sports and advertising again. There seems to be a very positive resurgence of the attractiveness of windsurfing, many people are coming back to it, sponsors are seeing it as a positive vehicle to carry their products and there is a new young generation that is growing in windsurfing again.

I lived in Utah from 1-16 years old, this is where I learned windsurfing. I moved to Maui in 1986 with my dad and graduated from High School on Maui and am still living there in Spreklsville. Before windsurfing I competed locally in tennis, golf and BMX.
